Businesses will be able to take office space and use meeting rooms in some of the only environmentally friendly serviced offices in the UK, from 1st July 2008 when The Serviced Office Company opens the doors to its Canary Wharf building.
More than just a few token showers and bike racks, these serviced offices in London, close to the DLR in Canary Wharf, have been completely refurbished, integrating all the latest energy efficient heating and cooling systems as well as automatic lighting and water saving devices throughout.
Even the exclusive designer furniture from Herman Miller has been made with recycled materials. All electricity is provided by Green energy supplier Ecotricity.
“We’re one of a kind in London,” General Manager Simon Eastlake said. “Our new serviced offices in Canary Wharf gave us the opportunity to do something really unique and we decided not to compromise on anything, especially when it came to the environment.”
The Serviced Office Company is working with Climate Care to offset carbon emissions, making these carbon neutral premises. Climate Care says:
“Companies are being challenged to take responsibility for their impact on the climate today and understand how business will work in the low carbon world of tomorrow.”
Simon Eastlake continued, “Companies need to show not only investors but also employees that they’re aware of environmental issues. By taking serviced office space with us, they’re making a very powerful statement.”
London serviced office and London meeting rooms will be available from 1st July 2008. Appointments are now booking. Please call 0800 319 6600 for more information.
